Improved GX 1, DVD raw used this time

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX episode 1 used with a DVD raw has been released in place of the old one.

Many errors in the first one, so a second one was made. Also please make note that it has a smaller file size and much better quality, and most importantly doesn’t lag.

Project notices

First, we are catching up quite a bit with Soul Eater. I predict to be caught up in a week and a half, seeing as we don’t come across any serious problems. And, translations are MUCH better now, I can tell you that. When caught up, we may redo episode 1. Look forward to them!

We’ve set a goal to complete GX, at least those we have HQ raws for, by the end of the month. We have a huge change in our usual projects planned for the summer line up, so we need at least GX and R+V done.

If you think you can contribute HQ raws or DVD rips for GX or DM, we’d like to hear what you have. Remember though, no raw links on the forum. You can suggest doing so in the Join Us section in the subbing application thread. You will be placed in the credits. In fact, you may apply as a raw provider if you don’t mind searching for and doing uploads to Megaupload each week. Note that you’ll only be on staff if you do this more than one series. Thanks!

More staff wanted! We want to increase our projects and get current ones completed, of course! We’re willing to train timers. We also accept typesetters who only know basics, such as positioning, setting fonts, creating styles, etc. We can train you in advanced typesetting. Even basic typesetting decreases our typesetters’ ETA, thus enabling faster releases. If you think you can be a dedicated member, sign up in the Join Us section!

We also accept scanlators! Our admin michellechan2211 was a scanlator before joining, and has recruited a few friends. We’re [i]almost[/i] ready to start our scanlation division. We just need a few more people. A translator in particular, to lighten the load on our others.

Lastly, last week’s Special A episode will be released along with this week’s due to a translation delay. Sorry!

Happy Anniversary, Generation neXt!

In celebration of our first anniversary, we planned a surprise for you guys! We’ve been working on it since JANUARY! It’s Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light, Generation neXt style! Lots of cool attack effects and more! Go check it out, people! It’s now available for direct download in the forum!

We’ll be celebrating this whole month, since the exact date of Generation neXt’s creation was lost. ^^;;; But that’s all the better for you guys! We have more presents for you guys all month! Keep a lookout and continue to celebrate with us!
